Seiko King Quartz – Blue Stripe Dial 35mm – Day-Date at 3 o’clock – Vintage Japan
Seiko’s King Quartz line is where the brand put its best quartz finishing in the late ’70s/early ’80s, and this piece is a standout because of the blue vertically striped dial. In the metal it catches light beautifully—subtle enough for daily wear, special enough to feel “collector.” The angular case wears slim and the integrated bracelet gives it that clean, purposeful Seiko look. • Model/line: Seiko King Quartz, Japan • Movement: Quartz (battery); running smoothly in my checks; day/date quickset works and flips as it should • Case: Stainless steel, about 35 mm across (excl. crown); crisp facets with honest light wear from age • Crystal: Mineral (Seiko Hardlex-type) with minor marks visible at some angles • Dial/hands: Blue stripe texture, applied baton indices, stick hands; applied emblem above 6; printing is clean and even • Bracelet: Stainless-steel integrated multi-link with fold-over clasp; light stretch typical of age • Fit: Currently sized for roughly 17.5–18.0 cm wrists with clasp micro-adjust; no spare links included unless shown in photos • Water resistance: Not pressure-tested—treat as splash-only (as with most vintage) • What’s included: Watch only, no original box/papers (if I find extras I’ll photograph them and update the listing) • Condition notes: Vintage pre-owned piece with surface hairlines on case/bracelet and small crystal marks; dial and hands present beautifully—please review photos for exact condition
